Visited the Olive Tree today at about 2 pm the place was nice and busy with a great vibe. We accidentally got in the way of one of the serving staff as we walked in, and we exchanged smiles we asked where to sit and she said take a seat where you like. We sat there causally looking at the menu, and after sometime we thought perhaps we better go up and place our order. I asked at the till and they confirmed that we should place the order at the till and there was no table service. Our group of 6, ranging in age from 9 to 79, including meat eaters and vegetarians, visited this restaurant with 2 dogs. The 9 year old declared it the best pizza he's ever had, while the vegan Sunday roast was also fantastic. Service was quick and friendly, and we enjoyed sitting outside under the covered area. Even the jacket potato my aunt ordered was generous, with plenty of salad and coleslaw. The wide variety of menu options, including the excellent roast dishes, made it a great choice for everyone. My family of 9 adults and 2 children went to this restaurant for breakfast, spending over £100. When the food arrived, one of the plates was missing beans. I called the waitress, who gave a confusing explanation and refused to bring us the beans, even though we did not ask for a dry breakfast. We also paid for 2 pieces of toast, which never came. When I asked the waitress, she claimed it was already on one of the breakfast plates, which didn't make sense. Despite spending over £100, we were only given 1 piece of toast instead of the 2 we paid for. The customer service was terrible.
Really poor service some of the food on the dinner was cold. My daughters meal arrived as the waiter was clearing the rest of the tables plates, we had to remind staff 3 times that we still hadn't received it. One bowl of vegetables between 4 adults, we were told more vegetables were on their way but after asking twice more for it and nothing being brought we just gave up. We even had to ask where our drinks were as they didn't arrive. Not great, won't be returning.

On arrival were told there was an hour's wait for food (although there were empty tables near us) and the member of staff suggested we tried the coffee shop Green and wild in the food hall. Followed her advice. We waited 45 minutes for an over priced sandwich. Staff were friendly and apologetic but unlikely to make a return visit.
The service at this restaurant is extremely slow. We ordered two hot chocolates that tasted like dirty water. We complained and they made us another one, but it tasted just as bad. We were disappointed and will not be returning to this nice-looking establishment.
Fabulous food and great service…staff are extremely friendly. Wonderful atmosphere…great venue…could spend all day here walking around the garden centre.
Always lots to chose from and the staff are so nice and friendly . The place is always clean with a happy vibe and pleasent surroundings .

Amazing Sunday lunch. Staff were excellent and welcoming. Food was served quickly . Definitely worth a visit.
