Come to this shop 1 time a year when in Moama usually not offensive and generally happy but, my minimum order of chips was cooked in a deep fryer from KMart not in the commercial grade cooker, was wrapt in paper like they were wrapping...a Christmas present and were over greasy and salty. The disturbing part was watching them pull out what looked like a pre cooked burger for another customer and put it under the grill to heat it up. I don't know why this happened but seemed like a common practice. Anyway 1 time a year we normally go there, that was the last.

This restaurant in Echuca/Moama is a must-visit. However, after a recent change in ownership, we were disappointed with our experience. The chips were cold and soggy, and the fish was undercooked. One customer even received the wrong burger, took it home, and only discovered the error later. When they brought it back, it was reheated and offered to the correct customer who had previously rejected it. This experience has made us wary of eating any food from this establishment in the future.
We usually make this a "must do" when visiting Echuca/Moama. Never again. Change of ownership saw cold soggy chips and uncooked fish. One customer was given the wrong burger, took it home and discovered the mistake, brought it back and it was put back on the hotplate and then offered to the right customer who refused to take it - as most of us would. I would be very wary of any food from this establishment.

Looking for quick and easy lunch on our first day of holiday, didn't want to go too far, checked guide in our room and saw this place, hubby walks down and comes back with the best chips and potato cakes I have ever had, cooked...perfectly, a very generous serve of chips and all presented in a box which made it so much easier to carry and keep hot. Hubby said lovely people and atmosphere, highly recommend.
After seeing a review placed by someone on a Coeliac Facebook page I visited for lunch. Had a delicious gluten free hamburger with the lot. And I treated myself to a couple of gluten free jam donuts too. Friendly knowledgeable service. I initially wanted gluten...free dim sims but they have stopped selling them, due to poor feedback. I will be back again.
This place puts a unique slant on the usual fish and chip burger joint. They have a lovely, modern and clean shop and a wide variety of food to choose from. I had a wagyu burger and was impressed. Really tasty, generous serving, and...decently priced. Next time I am in this neck of the woods I am keen to try some of the others!
It was the fact they had so much gluten free food that attracted us initially. We ordered burgers, a gf souvlaki, fish sticks, potato cakes and chips. Really good sized servings but way too much salt on the fried food and just very average flavours....Disappointing!

this device makes good fish chips with good packings and good quantities. they also have a wide range of Phillipino food and hold a series of frozen seafood, e.g. large whole sardines.
