I recall that this building was empty for years, but now it looks stunning. Be sure to make a reservation for the rooftop, as it’s a must-visit spot. The food was enjoyable, but there could be some improvements in customer service. The staff seems to need diversity training; we had to wait 20 minutes before someone attended to us. I had to flag down our waitress, Julie, who had initially overlooked us and offered a disappointing excuse. Despite this, I plan to return for the rooftop experience. I would recommend implementing diversity training and keeping in mind that the restaurant overlooks the lake in Austin.
Overall, my experience was disappointing. The wait staff seemed uninterested in providing any service, let alone good service. One server with numerous piercings was fantastic and very helpful, though. Another server kept flipping her braids and then touching the glasses with her bare hands, and she was quite engrossed in her phone. On the positive side, the burger was tasty. However, I should note that this is not a full bar and the drink options are quite limited. I won't be returning.
This restaurant has become our favorite spot for fish and chips since Owen and Engine shut down. We really enjoy the food, drinks, and ambiance. The service is excellent—Sam and Taylor always remember us, which adds a nice personal touch. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Oak Park or looking for a pleasant escape from the city!
One Lake Brewing is a great place. They had many drink options (beer, wine and whiskey). I had the Fish and Chips, which was great tasting and filling.The total bill was $200 for a party of 6. I plan to go back when the rooftop opens.

Amazing beer. The pretzels are amazing. The tomato soup was stellar. They have a great burger. We went with a large family party. Most of us got something different and we were all very happy.
Sat on the rooftop, It was so nice. The food was really good, the beer was grear was great, and our wait staff was fantastic. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic restaurant! They went above and beyond to accommodate our group outing. The food and drinks were excellent.
I loved the buffalo chincken wings, the burger and the beers! I tried the Robinson one. I will definitely come back!
