Date night and our very first visit to O'Neal's Country Buffet. Don't expect to find several rows of entrées and sides ... there is one hot food line with meats and sides, one for salads and one for desert cobblers ... but please dont let that sway you from visiting! There was PLENTY to choose from and every single thing we tried was good ole country home cooking! Sweet Tea was just like Mom's! You will NOT be disappointed! Being Friday night ... there was stready stream of customers for eat in and take out. The waitresses were busy but checked in frequently. Highly recommend!
I had a great meal at this restaurant with my dad and his friend. My dad, a widower, visits this place 3-4 times a week and it’s easy to see why. We went on a Saturday when they were serving seafood, and the shrimp was fantastic, along with the fried chicken. They even offered hot wings! You might want to bring your salt shaker for the sides, but the hush puppies stood out as a must-try. The staff was incredibly friendly, and it felt like they genuinely see their customers as part of their family. I highly recommend coming here for a meal.
Cute and very country place in a very country town. Food is good but remember the place is super small, so the buffet is small as well. Mostly local favorites (fried foods galore! And it is very tasty. They were limited on drinks (only water, tea and lemonade, which was very light on the lemon, lol . Baked chicken was available and that's what I chose. I could barely pick it up it was so tender! I'll go again when I come down that way.
Brought my kids for their birthday and we absolutely loved the food. The service was extremely prompt our male server was very kind. I've worked in the restaurant industry for many years and the only thing I observed that could make it better would be more space, a bigger building but everything else is very good. Book a table now
