Today I placed an order over the phone for a certain time, I arrived a little bit before my quote time. when one of the cashiers told the kitchen cooks that I had arrived the kitchen manager Diego, started yelling from the kitchen that I was earlier thanthe requested time. He made me feel dumb by the way he was speaking to me in front of other guest and employees. He wasextremely rude I can?t believe he is the manager with such poor customer service he was also being rude to his cashiers. I knowthat we all have bad days but he should show better costumer service if he wants to keep the clientele.
The Island Fire Chicken is definitely my top choice. They cooked it perfectly—not drenched in sauce and not overloaded with onions—just the right balance, and it tasted even better because of it. The interior feels a bit outdated, especially with the color scheme, but the tables were clean and there was plenty of open seating inside. As for parking, since it’s in a shopping center, there are plenty of spots available. While the closest spaces to the restaurant or stores might be taken, you’ll still find parking without any trouble.
The service at this restaurant is terrible! They never answer the phone when you try to place an order and when they do, you are put on hold for more than 10 minutes. If you hang up and try to call back, the phones are constantly busy. Even if you go in person, they don't properly hang up the phones so they are not receiving any calls.
I really enjoyed my visit here. The food was delicious, with a perfect blend of salty and sweet flavors. The seafood and chicken were absolutely finger-licking good. The rice and salad were average, but the mac salad was the second best part of the meal. It’s affordable, and the atmosphere is lively with great music playing.

I remember Ono Hawaiian Bbq from when I lived in California in 2016. Since I was living in San Pedro, I think this was the closest location to me. I'm not certain if this is the exact spot, but it looks very familiar. One of my favorite items on their menu was the tuna macaroni salad.
I went to the restaurant today and ordered chicken katsu, but it did not come with katsu sauce. Do I have to order that separately? In any case, the meal was bland and dry without it. Disappointing experience at Ono's.
This was an unexpected pleasure. The only downside was how long it took. My lunch is an hour and I didn?t have time to actually eat it for lunch.
