The products are always fresh and well prepared and also prepared for the eye. There's something for the kids, there's never been any complaints. This restaurant is very expensive and the food is just...acceptable. This is the kind of food that you would get at any restaurant for a lower price and literally is the type that you can cook at home very easily without complications and NO decoration....I was surprise that this restaurant is so well rated for what they offer. I wouldn't dare to go there again. They really need to renovate the floor/restrooms, look for a better cook and waiters (one of them was really rude to us and made us wait for more than hour and minutes after having the starter).
We love Italian food. And we know a lot about good places around the world with this cuisine. So, this restaurant is great.food is delicious and fresh. Red wine was outstanding. Please, don't ignore the desert, you will be happy to try this colors of...the taste . Don't come here if you don't want to pay good money for your food . And stop writing that is expensive.
Had a business dinner here. It is a fancy restaurant with nice selection of choices. Our vorspeisen was really excellent...a caprice salad. The main entree tasted good but not particularly spectacular, however their dessert (a sampler) was extraordinary. Wine choices were also excellent. Overall, I...had a very good meal here and would like to return again.

Fantastic food and service with a great atmosphere. The restaurant is stated to be Italian but to be truthful its a mix of Italian and French. Food was excellent, especially the octopus starter. Great wine selection. Helpful staff who knew the menu by heart and...were able to make excellent recommendations.
Orangerie restaurant remain for us the best restaurant in Darmstadt. dishes are prepared with selected fresh products. Oysters are high quality Gillardeau. Just one negative thing , the waiters should smile more.
We had av very nice dinner at the Orangerie. The theme of the week was lobster. It is an fine dine Italian restaurant with fish and seafood as a speciality. Excellent food and good service.
