I came here to dine with friends on a weekday evening and was super excited because I heard nothing, but great reviews. The restaurant is located in the heart of Dedham Square about 30 minutes south of downtown Boston and is very close to the lines of Hyde Park. Upon walking in the space is well lit with a host stand at the door, several smaller party tables along the perimeter of the venue and even has a fireplace surrounded by love seats, a couch, tv, and a neighboring wine rack. My party was for six people so we were nestled towards the back of the dining room past the bar. . Anna, our server was attentive and continued to check in periodically although we had not even looked at the menu...
The food is delicious. Service only gets as high as it does because of ONE server...Mark. Mark is super attentive and accommodating. From the moment you walk in until you leave, whether it's busy or not. I've been there during both and if he's working...he's WORKING! Food is great, but poor service can ruin any dining experience and Mark definitely takes his job seriously and makes sure you leave happy. I'd go out on a limb to say...he saves this place from complaints as I've heard some from other Patrons.
Fantastic dinner tonight at Orchid7 Fusion Bar Grill in Dedham Square!!! Service was fast right on point. (Mark nailed it! Food by Chef Maria Yaye was outstanding. We had the red snapper with killer sauce, fried plantains, black rice, veggie curry chickpeas and flatbread appetizer smothered in cheese fresh cherry tomatoes could have been the whole meal!
The cafe isn’t the most comfortable for eating ice cream inside, but the service is great and food is delicious we had raspberry shake and eggnog ice cream
