My first experience was great. only had appetizers) Friends had recommended it. I took my family this past weekend and was so disappointed. It seemed the regulars were treated much better with service, Chef was also visiting their tables while ignoring ours. No bartender, the waitress prepares your drinks for bar service. maybe why we waited so long for drinks) Waited another 15 minutes just to get a drink. 15 more to take our appetizer order. Apps were good but dinner was enough reason, not to go back. Osteria Trulli is an authentic Pugliese kitchen located in Arlington Heights, IL. Focusing on “La Cucina Povera” (cooking of the poor), That’s from the website! So what cooking of the poor is it when you charge astronomical prices for real italian food? The food might be good but maybe move to a more modest area and actually make it La Cucina Povera and stop pretending that you want it anything but Cucinare per i ricchi (cooking for the rich).
