Despite reading some negative reviews on Google, we decided to give this restaurant a try at the recommendation of our travel companions. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. We ordered a variety of combo meals that included hot chicken wings, pork ribs, rump steak, potato spuds, hot chips, and steamed vegetables. The steak was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were a generous portion. The restaurant also had a kids activity corner with Playstations and coloring supplies, which kept our four children entertained. Overall, we had a fantastic meal and a wonderful evening.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find Oitback Jacks, large spacious seating at tables, fast and friendly service, menu as you'd expect from a steak house..but servings are more than generous..Im not afraid of an eating challenge but the beef ribs I had were a...match for me ! Very healthy servings, cooked really well and delicious bourbon sauce..highly recommend this restaurant
Food was absolutely disgusting Chicken schnitzel was extremely chewy Mushroom garlic bacon sauce was cold and served on a plate was all lumpy. Mash was cold lumpy and grey in colour. No taste Both meals left hardly touched Absolutely disappointed in service and meal No...apology the poor boy that served us thought I was joking and didn’t know what to do. Will never be returning
Yeah look not bad. Food took a while considering the Covid situation. Also with all guys employed the service definitely wasn’t efficient and attention to detail was certainly lacking. Food was ok as well. The steaks were all cooked well but not overly amazing. It does add up when you add the sauce, and the secret herbs and spices. The southern style chicken burger was better.

I don't have much to say, but I can tell you that this restaurant serves tasty pork ribs. The portions are generous, which is a plus. The BBQ sauce is delicious. I recommend trying the traditional BBQ ribs, you won't be disappointed. They also offer kangaroo and crocodile meat, if you're feeling adventurous. The staff is friendly and attentive.
We rang about an hour before their advertised closing time and they were about to shut early due to a slow night. They stayed open however and waited for us to get there. Service was then excellent no sign of being annoyed we held...up closing or anything and the meal was excellent.
Wow what a great dinner. Had the ribs and wings deal. What an amazing and generous sized meal. Loved it. Ribs were cooked perfectly and meat fell off the bone. I was told this place is under new management so give it another go cause its great. You won't go away hungry.
If you're in Canberra and enjoy a good steak Outback Jacks is worth a visit. Even the vegetarian options are delicious. Good selection of local craft beers to enjoy. Well located within the city precinct.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and the food is fantastic. The salad was extremely fresh and delicious. There is also a kids room for my son, and he really enjoyed it.
Ordered a veggie burger here and surprised to see that they were able to make it very tasty. Chips were nice and crunchy too.
