As a coeliac who needed gluten free food for lunch, I was very disappointed. There was no g-f section so I inspected the labels of the likely offerings. There was a salad bowl with some fruit and walnuts for $13:95. There were a couple of un-labelled sushi offerings, not appearing to be freshly made, and very expensive compared with the usual places. There was a baked dinner but the chef could not assure me about its gluten status. I left empty handed and feeling ignored. At Westfield next door there was a selection lovely rice paper rolls and was promptly informed of which ones were g-f. They were only $4:50 each. I won't be going to the Food Hall again.

To describe the David Jones Food Hall as amazing is an understatement. This magical food emporium is a feast for all the senses. There are sooo many differnt foods on offer, anything you can think of from fresh produce (fruite, veggies meat), deli products, cheeses, chilled goods, quick bites for on the go, tea, biscuits, chocolate, condaments, cakes, pastries, breads more. There are also cafes restaurants where you can relax enjoy a great meal or a sweet treat. We made multiple trips found some amazing goodies for our dinners as well as some lovely gifts to take home.
self-service weeping. beautiful concept, especially if they rehearsal size, a full glass or in between, depending on how they feel. was not so smooth. many problems, among them, the wein always do not stick out, the card reader does not recognize the money card, or at worst the machine takes off the money, but do not give it a wein! if they get something wein, the selections are not bad. the best thing I tried was the st hugo greenache shiraz mataro, smooth not thick, not hard on aromen, but warm her throat with spicy, with a hauch of pfeffer taste.
Absolutely love the David Jones food hall but some of the food bars can be hit and miss. This visit I had steamed oysters and Peking duck noodles at the noodle bar. The oyster were great but the duck noodles were firstly lacking a lot of duck - it was there but so finely shredded you couldn't tell, and was a little heavy on the salty sauce side. The service was excellent though. Just think I prefer the oyster bar and sushi train, Book a table now

Absolutely love the David Jones Food Hall, but some of the food sticks can hit and miss. This visit I had steamed oysters and Beijing duck noodles at the noodle bar. I only believe, I prefer the oysbar and sushi train,
after the window shop thrown into lunch. my prawn cocktail was a deconstructed plate of snappy sweet king prawns with a fresh salad and zingy dressing, adjacent to a fair whack of rose-marie sauce. oysters came fucked (pre fucked more spirited them) with a splash of tetsuyas dressing. briny and fresh, even though slightly dish gritty. not amazing, but a solid option in cbd for a fast seafood hit.

worst weinbar experience so far. in this week we have been able to taste some wine in the david jones weinbar in sydney. from the 8 premium samples we bought, 3 smells like the gas from the donators, the bottle has to sit in the donator for weeks without replacement.
Today I walked into the store curious on a tailored made suit and the staff here made it very easy I ended up purchasing one for myself !!. Really smooth process and staff were easy and understanding. Will come back again!!
