I was overall happy with my late dinner. Nick was friendly, kind, and very attentive. However, the food runners seemed uncertain about which dishes belonged to which table, which raised some concern since I mentioned a food allergy. I ordered the shrimp appetizer gluten-free, which unfortunately meant no bread substitute. Nonetheless, it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and had just the right amount of kick! I also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were good but surprisingly a bit drier than I expected. The cocktail was strong and enjoyable. Regarding dietary restrictions, the chef was knowledgeable about gluten-free cooking and had the server check if I was celiac. The food was prepared...
This restaurant should be your last resort if you're dining in Wild Dunes. The prices are steep for food that falls short of its menu description. We ordered several appetizers and dinner for our party of five. The pasta with sausage and broccolini was disappointing, consisting of crumbles of sausage and frozen broccoli, with hardly any sauce. The fish we had was passable, but nothing special. We tried a few appetizers; the crudo was overly sweet and had a slightly fishy taste, while the octopus hushpuppies could have been ordinary hushpuppies, as there was no discernible flavor of octopus. Overall, it was a letdown.
Let’s begin with the positives. Nick’s service was friendly, and the ambiance was lovely. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. The food was incredibly disappointing. They advertise sharable plates, but they really aren’t. To make matters worse, they have the nerve to charge $21 for a drink and an additional $2 just for serving it on the rocks. The tomahawk steak was overcooked and lacked flavor, and we ended up sending back both the grouper and the pasta. Save your money and your taste buds—choose a different restaurant instead.
This is a 2 star experience at best. The service is was slow and our server was a bit spacey. She forgot items constantly and we had to ask for things several times. The food was ok but not out of this world for the price we paid. You're better off going into Charleston to eat.

I had breakfast and dinner here. I thought the food was very fresh, original and delicious. My only complaint is the ambiance. It is very loud and the tables are crammed together. (most of them high top bar tables). Not really what one would expect for the food prices.

What fabulous meals! We came back here all three nights of our stay. Jonathan and Hilary were incredible servers who made amazing meals an even more incredible experience!

Whole branzino was good, properly stuffed and cooked with nice sides.We didn't like the fried oysters. Bibb salad only looked good!
