We ordered the pan-fried buns, which were a perfect 10/10—very juicy and delicious. The pan-fried pork and chive dumplings rated an 8/10; they were tasty and juicy but could use a bit more flavor. Unfortunately, the pork soup dumplings only scored a 3/10, as they lacked flavor and didn't have much soup inside. The bok choy was decent at 7/10, though it felt a bit greasy. I definitely want to try the noodles on my next visit. I also wish they offered more drink options like soy milk. It would be nice to have some cold dishes, like a cucumber salad, as well. We went on a Sunday afternoon and were seated quickly, but there was a long line of people waiting when we left.
I'm glad to have found another great Taiwanese restaurant in LA. The staff was very welcoming. Their beef noodle soup is definitely a standout, featuring unique thick, al dente noodles and tender beef tendons (though the chunks of beef were less impressive). The broth had an interesting herbal flavor that I enjoyed. I was also impressed with their shrimp and pork dumplings; the pork was likely complemented by the filling from the XLB on the menu, which made the dumplings very juicy. I just wish the wrappers were thinner. Overall, don't expect anything out of the ordinary, but it's a great value and certainly better than many others.
This is our second time here and the food was just as good as the first time we went there. It’s my husband’s favorite spot for beef noodle soup. The pan fried buns were crispy on the bottom and soupy on the inside (perfection). Try the honey green tea! It big enough to share between two people. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious Taiwanese food! They also have a nice parking lot (unlike most places in LA).
The food was very tasty. The fried chicken was fresh and crispy and was surprisingly crispy and hot throughout our meal here. The beef and tendon noodles soup was excellent as well as the xlb! I cant wait to come again and try other meal items. It does get busy so def try to beat the lunch time rush we went around 11:30 and were able to get seated right away.

I have tasted the braised beef noodles here. The beef and tendons are generous and the taste is very good. It does not taste like MSG, and the xiaolongbao is not bad. Unfortunately, the frozen milk tea has no tea flavor, which is as fragrant as the Hong Kong-style milk tea. Quite a distance.
Great small spot next to a grocery store. The spicy beef noodle soup is fantastic. The fried calamari is spicier than you think it will be. Be sure to get a big mug of their tea or milk tea.
The fried noodles are delicious, the crispy salted chicken is also good, and the noodles are also delicious. It’s a great place to recommend!
Always a go-to spot here in Monterey Park. Friendly staff and quick service is what keeps me coming back every time!
