This restaurant is a nice spot in a college town where you can enjoy good food and great company. The service is just okay, but the owner is always kind, appreciative, and friendly. The standout is the sushi—you wouldn’t expect such high quality, flavorful options in a small town in Ohio. We’ve been coming here since our daughter left for Kent State University in 2019, and it’s now a must-visit every time we’re back. The food is always fresh, fast, and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable compared to the West Coast. I haven’t had a single dish that wasn’t fantastic on the menu.
i got the Panang spring roll and tom yam tofu and vegetable soup which were both full of heat as a heat junkie i thought they were good but if you aren't a spicy food fan i would order a mild entree then Despite the Bluefin Tuna, one server went back into the kitchen when he found out that i am vegan and asked what i had ordered to make sure it was okay for me. Lovely little Asian restaurant in Kent. While it doesn't adhere to a specific Asian style of cooking, you can be sure that the quality of the food is great. Always tastes fresh, and there are options for everyone. Definitely the best prices for sushi and more in the Akron/Kent area. Clearly labeled vegetarian options, which are mostly vegan. I got the sushi lunch special. I tried the inari cucumber roll, sweet potato roll, and shiitake roll. Only reason for the 3 stars is I felt the place could be a little cleaner and the veggie options were the same price as the more elaborate fish rolls.

This place was pretty good! When I came in I asked which items on the menu could be made vegan and the woman at the register was able to let me know and the staff was friendly.
Good food. Make sure to ask if specific things are made with non-vegan items (like fish broth, milk, egg, etc. . I was told that some of their bubble teas are vegan!
