Packers came highly recommended for our mini family reunion and was very disappointing. Our group of 12 made a reservation several days in advance because we know how important that is. I went for a night stay, it was a company retreat. At night this restaurant closes at around 10/10:30. I and a friend of mine got crazy hungry as we had danced so much. It was close to the time for the restaurant when we met Aaron !!! I have to make this a little dramatic as it was not about the food but about the jester, the experience, about the importance of someone acknowledging your ask and honoring it !!!! After five years of living up here, we finally went to Packers to kick off our 21st Anniversary with their Happy Hour. Shannon was our server and she was fabulous. I had the Hazana Martini Honey started with an Old Fashioned. We had the Marinated Olives with Bread Butter, then Calamari, which was OK. I'm not a fan of tartar sauce with Calamari. Then we finished up with the Korean sauced Chicken Wings. It was a wonderful afternoon of munching, cocktails and a stunning view! Shannon was quite delightful as we chatted about mixology and the great drinks. We will definitely be regulars as its just a lovely seaside spot for good food, great drinks, relaxing atmosphere and GREAT service.
Came on a weekend for breakfast and we waited an hour for our food which was only lukewarm warm. Our server was one of two for a very busy restaurant. One of the managers, John, just walked around and never helped take orders or offer to pour coffee. Typically a manager would step in and help his people. After three tables cancelled their orders and left, he should have walked around to apologize and offer more coffee or a mimosa. There were lots of opportunities for him to make the experience better. The pancakes were good, the eggs were over cooked and the English muffins on traditional egg Benedict were tough to cut into.

We were approached by a young man and told him we would like a table. He said he would get the hostess. After waiting 5 minutes a table of two were seated. Still waiting another table was seated that's when I asked about our table. The hostess told us to go out to the hostess desk. She then argued that we had to be seated at the hostess desk. She finally stopped arguing and apologized for the lack of communication between her and I believe the bus boy. Compliments to our server, she was excellent.
This place can’t scale at all. The restaurant operation was poorly managed. Breakfast buffet was bad and food was poor. If you want to order from menu it is 1.5hrs wait time.why party of 4 considered as big party and 20% gratuity added automatically with buffet option?
Saturday lunch beside ocean and fish not available. Group of 14 people very disappointed with poor service. Shrimp Louie salad was very poor , dry, no salad dressing and no eggs althouh explained in the menu differently. Will not dare to return there in the future.
Food was delicious and nicely portioned. Menu clearly indicates gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy/nut information. Our server was knowledgeable, personable, and unobtrusive. Our table was by the window with views across the bay to Vancouver, BC.

Expensive but a nice place to take out of town guests. Lunch menu is really limited so don't show up hungry and expect to pay over $50 each if you add a glass of wine or a beer.
