"I'm saddened to learn that this restaurant has shut down. They offered the most delicious pork belly tacos and guacamole, along with great cocktails. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very calming. I hope they open a new location soon so they can keep serving their fantastic food and drinks."

Perhaps it was the universe aligning but our latest outing to Padrecito bordered on magical. Sure I found parking within minutes. Sure the weather was a perfect low 70's Sure it was busy with the hustle and bustle of cole valley but everyone was in a really chill vibe with plenty of people walking their fur friends. Sure we show up and there is an outdoor table for us immediately but.... Padrecito always has great homemade comfort food. Service was on point. Azizza was a fantastic help from recommendations to substituting things out....just PERFECT. Fantastic cocktails. My **** Mary was one of the best I have ever had....tasted like it was made from scratch..it was. Awesome homemade guac and...

I'd give 4-5 stars for just food and drinks since that was definitely delicious. Ordered the pancakes and chilaquiles (pictured), chips and salsa which were yum, and a marg. Reason for the 3 star is I have a service dog with me and the manager (or one of the staff) came up to explain to me that the dog needs to not bark, not be in the aisle, on the ground, etc. My service dog was not making any noise, not in the aisle, and I placed her on the ground once he asked. He was incredibly offensive and rude (you can tell he just wanted to make it known that he wanted to remove the dog if any small thing were to occur). I've not had a single experience like this in SF where the manager or staff come...

The restaurant offers mediocre food served in small portions at high prices. However, the atmosphere is pleasant. My partner and I stopped by for dinner on a Wednesday evening during a neighborhood stroll. We tried the Padrecito cocktail for $13, the La Copa Verde cocktail for $14, Cod tacos for $17, Enchiladas de Res for $21, and Rice for $7. While these prices are typical for San Francisco, the portion sizes left much to be desired. The rice, priced at $7, was shockingly small. The enchiladas were also lackluster and expensive at $21. The cocktails, particularly the La Copa Verde, were delicious and the music played was enjoyable, featuring hits from the 90s and 2000s by artists like Britn...

Hands down the best brunch spot in Cole Valley! The first time I came here was actually because the wait at Zazie was too long ~2hrs), while there was no wait here. I'm just so glad I gave this place a shot because I enjoyed the food at Padrecito so much more. I came here with a friend, and we decided to split one savory item and one sweet item, which pretty much solves the biggest brunch dilemma savory or sweet? We ordered: Hash de pato 4.75/5): I really enjoyed this twist on a traditional hash with duck carnitas. This dish was tasty, and the meat was very tender. I'd order this again. Pancakes de platano 5/5): This is a must order! Unlike traditional pancakes, these pancakes 3) are made wi... Book a table now

Came to the Haight area for brunch but all the restaurants around us were packed and seem to had long wait times. Padrecito came through with the last minute seating and delicious brunch options for all of us. If you're a fan of breakfast burritos, Padrecito's is definitely one I would order. It comes with salsa and guac too! The chips and guac are also absolutely worth it, since they give a ton of guac and an assortment of salsas. The chips are super fresh too. For a sweet ending, we ordered a side of the kids pancakes which come with 2 small, fluffy pancakes with berry compote and this delicious dulce de leche sauce that really tied the whole dish together. If you're looking for brunch opt...

New parent of twins here-finally escaped the chaos of the infants, hit a parked car (with driver still inside) and ended up here. Buyers beware: the chips and guac are so good you'll take one bite of your food and realize you're already full of chips. Harness your inner confidence and ask for a to go box if you need it. You deserve to nibble on your chilequiles later (also all chips). My friend compared the pancakes to a toxic Instagram influencer because they were so beautiful that she wanted to be them. Chipotle **** Mary was very tasty. It came with an olive and that's all I have to say. Final disclaimer: my twins are 2 black kittens.

10/5 PANCAKES DE PLATANO!!! So fluffy and moist, yet still with the satisfying cornmeal texture. The caramel and mango/berry sauces on top are the perfect touch. Make sure you order this!!! The hash is also EXCELLENT a really delicious savory flavor. The potatoes are cooked perfectly. 5/5 service as well. Shoutout to Aziza a superstar! So friendly and had excellent recommendations. Last note: they have coffee but no espresso options, so you are free to order coffee from a nearby shop (there's one right next door) and bring it in if you'd like. But I loved their coffee and you get unlimited refills!!

I had a fantastic time at this brunch spot in Cole Valley! I was promptly seated, even though it was a busy Saturday. The service was average, nothing exceptional. The food and drinks were outstanding. Both my friend and I ordered the sopes de machaca, with my friend choosing hers without eggs. The standout dish was definitely the polenta pancakes, which had a more substantial texture compared to regular buttermilk pancakes. They were a delightful and innovative take on a timeless favorite. I highly suggest giving them a try. Book a table now

Solid neighborhood Mexican spot with great drink options. The place is spacious, with a big bar area- so great for groups as well. We had their: fried cod fish tacos- it had a nice a crunch, well seasoned. Loved the mountain of slaw they added on top. Enchiladas was cooked perfectly- hubby loved the meat, and gobbled it up in minutes. Ceviche- fish was fresh, nice appetizer to start off the meal. They also have an extensive drink menu, featuring a variety of mezcal.
