I'm not sure about the food quality lately. I stopped by this morning for a quick meal and found only two tables available—one booth in the back and a two-top in the front next to a table full of little kids. While I enjoy children's company, I had been working all night and was hoping for a quieter environment. The waitress informed me that I couldn't sit in the booth since I was alone, which I understand, but still, it was disappointing. She simply apologized as I walked out. For reference, Egg Harbor is a five-star place.
The restaurant has a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere, featuring a wonderful mom-and-pop vibe. They offer a variety of vegetarian options, mainly classic breakfast dishes that cater to vegetarian diets. It’s a family-friendly place; there were many families dining there during my visit. However, the space is a bit tight, so don’t expect the little ones to have too much room to move around. We dined in for breakfast, and the service was great!
My mom and I stopped in here since we were in the area it was our first time. Small lil spot hole in the wall in downtown area near train stop. Food was good, service was good staff very attentive and friendly. We will definitely go again. I had a skirt steak with the breakfast potatoes and pancakes my mom had the Hot turkey.
