"What was once an excellent and cheap buffet is going downhill fast. The dishes are always the same, the wok chef does NOT cook properly and over salts everything even if you say NO SALT please!! The dishes lack authentic taste. We have been going to this restaurant for years but will now have to stop as really not up to any standards, except very clean."

The restaurant reopened after a lot of work was carried out. In a way they have succeeded, it no longer looks like a canteen, well that s until you reach the buffet (yes another one of those!!!!!!!!! and discover the plastic plates, this is not good and then the food is well, what you can expect in a buffet not bad but certainly not great either. No better, no worst that the compétition, On the bland side definitely. So disappointed as we were hoping that the quality might have improved and that the Palais d’Asie might have gone back to what it was a few years ago : a proper restaurant not a self service. Will we go back ? Probably but only if we have no other option

I am a regular customer. Good quality Asian food. Many choices. Friendly staff. Good value for money. I brought friends there and they were happy. They enjoyed the sushi while I eat soup. Everyone had wok with fresh ingredients. I got a big steak, octopus, fried egg, vegetables. Best of everything. Plenty of spicy to enhance taste. Ended meal with fruits and icecream. I gain weight because I find the food irresistible. So I have to be on diet a few days after a buffet.

More choice of dishes than before and all is fresh in this completely refurnished and redesigned restaurant. Not gourmet food but honest for the price of 15€ weekdays lunchtime. Yes plastic plates but the soup is tasty and the choice enough to satisfy. This restaurant now compares equally with other buffets such as SeaZen and Panda Wok. They all have their faults but all are good for what they offer.

There is a large variety of dishes and the we are nicely welcomed. You can even choose your dish and have it cooked for you on the spot. And it is all you can eat. It is certainly a handy place with kids or lunch with colleagues. But the dishes taste do not stand out. The cooking is not great (too much water and taste diluted). So I may go back for not for the fine chinese food.
