They know you are in a good, authentic place when the food literally takes you to your grandmother's house as a kid. The black bean soup had this fantastic combination of ingredients that I only found in my grandmother's kitchen. This soup in itself was worth the trip. The swordfish starter was very good and the pisco sour was fantastic (I know pisco sour is not Mexican, but it definitely was very refreshing and mixed perfectly). In terms of price you are in NYC ... 'enough said.
After only giving us the options 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived at 7:15 am for our reservation, they made us wait for half an hour. Although they apologized, they didn't offer us free after-dinner coffee or any other specific apology. This type of service does not encourage return visits. The rest of the service was good except that the waiter tried to suggest the Dom Perignon champagne for $ 350 (he didn't tell us the price).
This lovely restaurant is a must see when in New York City! Our experience, friends from Florida and Missouri together for a great evening. The staff is superb, the food is excellent and alfresco dining is a must when the weather permits! Thank you Pampano!
It was my first time in Pampano. Overall it was great. Parts of the food may have been a little smaller than expected, but it was delicious and we really wish that happy hour wasn't just at the bar. But it's all good. Book a table now

The terrace party was very noisy and the staff kept opening the door which made it difficult to enjoy our table. So we asked to be moved.
