Pamana has moved from their old location on the corner of Railway Street to a larger spot just down the road. We had trouble finding it as it's hidden from the main street but keep your eyes peeled for the modest sandwich board with Pamana on it. My first time having Filo food, I enjoyed the beef stew, pork skewers, milkfish soup and fried rice. The sisig, a sizzling hotplate of pork, chicken liver and egg, was tasty too but I couldn't eat too much of it as it was greasy and heavy. Would be a terrific hangover cure. The crispy pata (pork leg) was alright though the meat was too hard. Pinakbet was the token vegetable dish but not many liked it due to the strong shrimp paste flavour. Although...

It was our first time trying Filipino food and my goodness we were not disappointed! Since we didn't know what to get, we found it so helpful that they marked what was recommended on the menu. I seriously loved the pork dish the vinegar sauce omg I just dunk the pork in there and let it soak that goodness up. Sooooooooo good.. the other dish on a hot plate was super as well and my partner really enjoyed that one too. And the squid fried rice... gee soooo good like I don't know how fried rice can look so plain but be so flavourful and delicious. I wish we went in a larger group so that we could try everything recommended on the menu! The portions are HUGE as well, and the food was still so go...

Yummy filipino food with good ambiance. It was my first experience and definitely will be back to try their other dishes. This place is clean, bright, buzzing and booking is necessary. Some of the must have lechon kawali, spicy sisig, afritada chicken and pork, chicken adobo, refreshing sinigang na hipon. Their range of desserts will satisfy sweet tooth and we like Truon, halo-halo and ube leche plan. Come for early dinner and other fast as the place is busy and food can take a while to come out. Short walking distance from chatswood metro as well so you don’t need to drive

It was my first time eating here in this Filo restaurant in Chatswood and it was a good one. Very quiet place as we were the only one eating that time and the ambience was okay. It was a little bit hidden as you need to use the stairs up and look for this one, but you can see the restaurant name on top of the stairs. The serving of food was large enough and we ordered Bulalo, Crispy Pata and Chopsuey. The only thing that I could say about the food, it was a little bit salty. Though the Halo Halo and sago’t gulaman was awesome. Book a table now

Delicious! The crispy pata is the 'go to ' dish. All the dishes we ordered were yummy and a generous portion. We got a chicken coconut curry, baby squid fried rice and the spicy sisig. All are highly recommended. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming! You can tell they are proud to showcase their national dishes. Yes, it 's a bit hard to find (go up the stairs once you reach the apartments), but it 's worth discovering!

Delicious filo food. The Team Angelica Boodle fight is awesome good presentation, big portion at good prices $35 per head). Bookings required for the boodle fight. The a la carte dishes are also good here. Recommend the crispy pork, taro leaves, garlic fried rice. Friendly service. BYO. Plenty of seating, spacious restaurant.
