"The beef rib looks burnt and black, worst banana smoothie I've ever had, taste like glass of diluted milk with banana crunches. Taste awful and I didn't bothering drinking it, waste of money. This place use to be better."

The menu is more extensive than the original pancakes on the rocks and though the pancakes do not taste like the originals 40 years ago they are still ok. We tried the crepe with cream cheese ans sultanas an strawberry coulis. Lacked the sophistication that the name suggested but was ok for the price and the type of family restaurant. Coffees were very old style caps with lots of froth, which my partner loved, I prefer the crema style of the new age espresso however, we were pleased with our experience. especially after we had goe for dinner a few doors away at a local pub that was absolutely horrible therefore we wanted something to eat. Not pretentious. Interesting menu. Not a big choice f...

Today at 10.30pm we decided to go for a quick coffee at the pancakes on the rock @ north Strathfield being Friday after the website confirmed the opening hours until 11.30pm. We were so called greet by a person " Robert" who advised that his manager " Ms Sherrin have advised to close the restaurant despite we arrived when it was more than 1 hour was left in trading hours as per the website. We left the store and now having a good time at our main pancakes on the rocks store at Northmead wher staff members are always polite and know what they are doing .We will never come back to this store at north Strathfield. We had also bad experience one or more times at this store and thought it may have...

Went for dinner with our teens after a long week. Only order the desserts as starters and mains were horrible. Nachos looked like it came out of the packet and pizzas tasted and looked like a glorified frozen pizza (they put lettuce and fried onions on top to pretty it up!). The service was terrible. We had to call the wait staff over several times, ordered water and soft drinks which came 20 minutes later and wait staff will come to take your dessert order and walk away without taking the finished dishes. They are called "pancakes on the rocks" for a reason. Only order pancakes or crepes and even those were average. Expensive waste of money and time

So we have been looking forward to this restaurant for a while as everyone said it's so good! And since we went earlier (5:30) to avoid the long queue, we got the seat easily and ordered rib steak with medium cook, Caesar salad, eggplant pizza and their signature berry pancake! I feel so disappointed about the steak as it really overcooked! It's totally dark!!! And pancake is way too sweet and the portion is big that we three couldn't finish it.. drinks are nice but I feel like the reputation is too high here and for me, no next time:( Book a table now

Thinking we'd get a decent pancake breakfast at a "specialty" restaurant on a Sunday morning was a blunder. These poor excuses were so dry they would have evaporated if it wasn't for the terracotta crust weighing them down. No amount of whipped butter (@ $2 for an extra dose), maple syrup or tomato sauce that turned up 10 minutes after the plates were removed could save these. Steer clear of this joint and try a nearby cafe instead.

We've dined here previously but we're quite disappointed this time.We had the pork ribs ($35.95) and the Chicken & Mushroom crepes ($15.95). Both were just ok. Nothing spectacular and not even good. There is so much potential here for a great restaurant but they are just trading on their name now, which is not enough to survive. Service was friendly and prompt, but the food and menu needs a refresh.

The service is always pretty good, very attentive and always refilling water which is awesome. The food is great, the pancakes can be heavy though so I like to opt for the crepes which you exchange instead of pancakes in all of the sweet dishes. The savoury food is good too, but if you're good you can't go past the sweet stuff. Definitely recommend for a chill night with friends or family.

This is a nice place if you are just looking for a snack or a drink in between meals. The pancakes are heavy but you can go for other items on the menu such as the crepes. It serves a variety of items from steak to ice cream. This place opens 24 hours so it is a place for people to hangout. Book a table now

Though the menu was extensive, we were told they had run out of many of the lunch items. We were there at 12pm. The food quality is very poor. Very bland and clumsy. Our glasses and cutlery were dirty. This wasn't a good experience unfortunately.
