I ordered through the app, and while my order came out quickly, my mom's was completely forgotten, along with our sides. The employee apologized and assured me it would be out soon, mentioning they were just putting it in the oven. Ten minutes later, I was still waiting. Finally, one staff member acknowledged me and confirmed they had forgotten about the pizza—again!
It wasn’t a particularly busy time, just a standard day, and I’ve certainly seen this place much busier. Even then, I wouldn’t mind if it was packed; at least then I’d understand the wait. The food, when it finally arrived, was good, which is the only reason I’m giving this place three stars.
There aren't many dining options in the Bowie area, so I thought Panera would be a reliable choice. However, the service here was not up to par for a chain restaurant. After placing my order, they simply left my food sitting there. At most other Panera locations I've visited, they either provide a buzzer or announce your name when your order is ready. To make matters worse, they also forgot to prepare my sandwich. By the time I received my food, it was cold. I ordered the flatbread pizza with pepperoni and sausage, and it was quite disappointing. I think I’ll stick to my usual Panera location in Columbia from now on.
I have been coming to this Panera since it opened and honestly it has never been on par with others near by (Bowie Town Center and Gambrills). Over the last few years, however, it has declined to unacceptable levels. The portions are smaller than other stores; there are always flies in the restaurant; the coffee is always cold; and utensils and salad dressing are served in plastic like carryout even when dining in. I consistently come back for the convenience and each time I am reminded why I shouldn't. I absolutely will not return.

I like panera bread. Unfortunately, this location panera is really disappointing the place was not clean, the coffee was completely empty and my friend ordered a coffee and when he got it, it was cold. I've gone too much paneras, and this one is missing in the service. I would say that the personal would be good, but everything else didn't work for me. it seems to have gone downhill since covid. I'm sorry to say. I hope it'll be better.
Relaxed location to meet or grab a friend for a healthy meal and go. Laptop friendly for males with relatively quiet environment. Friendly and friendly staff. Why should you ask 4 stars? I asked a knife to cut Mom's sandwich to manage for her... Knife picked up seemed to miss some cycle of cleaning. This has never happened in the years when I visited this particular Panera.
I ordered my favorite sandwich, Chipotle Chicken, no avocado with extra Chipotle sauce. When I got home, the sandwich was dry with little to no sauce on it and a little chicken. Please take better care in preparing to-go orders. It's disappointing when one gets home and the food is not right ??
Big and spacious. Food was good. Drinks were not filled as compared to other customers' drinks during our dine-in visit. While service wasn't bad, I've experienced better at a location that I frequent in Alexandria, VA.
