I have visited this location twice in search of lobster rolls, and I am incredibly disappointed. It is frustrating to work hard, save money, and make the effort to travel on two buses that only run every forty-five minutes to an hour, only to be told that there are no lobster rolls available. I feel that the cashier, who is a white gentleman, only serves lobster rolls to white customers. This has been my experience both times I have visited, at 11:30 and 1:30. Unlike my positive experiences at Panera Bread, where they always accommodate my requests, I feel that this particular individual selectively chooses who gets to enjoy the lobster rolls. My wife and I do take out frequently. This was a simple sunday morning and I ordered bagles online to be picked up. They were supposed to be ready at 915am, I arrived at 935 and they were not there. I was ignored by the entire staff when asking for help basically. They dont make eye contact, when I asked the person behind the front counter, they just were standing there doing NOTHING, they just said id have to go ask the people at the back counter in which I was just ignored by for 10mins of waiting. The service at the restaurant was decent, but I was incredibly frustrated to learn that they did not have any lobster rolls available. It is disappointing when a popular restaurant cannot provide items listed on their menu. This happened not once, but twice, leaving me disappointed. One would think that if you know a dish is in high demand, you would ensure there is enough in stock.
Very dirty. Behind counters and throughout the dining areas. I had to bring my utensils back twice as they both had old food on them. The counters are not wiped clean, tables chairs and flora are food covered. My tray had black soot on it. Won’t be back. The food year over year is just horrid now. $13 and some change for a microwaved bowl of chicken and rice. So dry with no sauce or chicken. Can’t even make a decent chicken sandwich either. The service at this restaurant is terrible, with no sense of urgency. It takes 20 minutes to get anything done, even when the place is empty.
