We came tonight to celebrate a birthday. We were seated 20 minutes ago and so far, no server has come yet to take our order nor offer beverage. Mind you, multiple servers have already passed by our party and all of which were no -eye contact. Eventually, our server came 40mins later. He was somewhat apologetic but you can tell how unhappy he was. As a matter of fact, i noticed the staff looked unhappy. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Reason why I gather around 15 for a meal today at 2:00 pm. The waitress got angry three times. My friends are telling me I did not witness the 4th time. I wrote in the receipt waitress was not nice. Well she chased me down o confront me. I told her I did not want to talk to her. She insisted in an angry way that her manager wanted to know why I wrote that. For this reason I decided to talk to her manager. In front of her I asked her, did you chased me? She answered me yes. I asked the manager is it correct to chase a costumer? She said no. It was not pleasant at all. She was complaining that they do not have enough waitresses. Saying she is overworked....
Located outside of the main entrance of Round 1 at Main Place Mall, this restaurant's service was disappointingly slow. I ordered a grass-fed lamb barg kabob with avocado romaine salad, requesting my meat be cooked rare. Despite being told they didn't offer medium rare, my lamb arrived cooked closer to medium. A friend who asked for medium had her dish come out well done. The portions of meat were small for the price, leading me to consider trying the beef next time. While the food was adequate, it did not stand out as exceptional. There are better dining options available, and I have enjoyed superior food and service at other Panini Kabob Grill locations.
Despite the slight delay in preparing and handing over my order to the delivery driver, the food was definitely worth the wait. The Flat Iron Steak Shish Kabob and Charbroiled Chicken Shish Kabob plates were expertly grilled, prepared, and packaged. The salads were fresh and packed separately. The portions were generous. The Hummus Trio was a must-try, and the pita bread was soft and fluffy. The Homemade Pistachio Baklava was the perfect dessert. This is now my favorite Mediterranean restaurant.

Although the Brea PKB is 10 minutes away, we make the 30 minute drive out to the PKB in Santa Ana because Santa Ana has their customer service, priorities, and responsibilities together! Always greeted with a smile, and the pick up order is sooooo easy here. The food is ALWAYS good. We get the family combo for 4, and it comes with plenty of salad, rice, and protein to last us for a few days.
This place is our favorite go-to for good food that's affordable and delicious. The last two times I've ordered take out the bulgar has been dry and burned. The first time I thought it was just a bad day but when it happened again today I thought I'd Yelp the experience. I did try to call Panini Grill but was placed on hold and after 15-minutes of waiting, I hung up.
Called in the wrap and salad. About $16. I was able to spread this over two lunches. It was delicious. I'd totally order it again. I was bummed that the order wasn't ready when I got there as it doesn't seem very complex and I have time constraints for my lunch. But I really liked it so I'd totally do it again.
Falagel, bulgar wheat, hummus, tzatziki, stuffed mushroom... Friggen delicious, nutritious and my stomach isnt bloated afterwards so I can go back to work from lunch not feeling sluggish.
