I had probably the worst meal that I can remember a few evenings ago. There was no choice but to inform the server that I was not pleased. I also never complain because there has never been a meal that bad that I have been served. The menu advertises that they have the best fish and chips in town. I decided to test that comment by ordering the one piece halibut, even at the high price of $24. It was severely overcooked and I swear the one end was part of the tail, no meat, just burnt batter. Thickness at the meaty end was maybe 3/8 thick. It was cooked so badly that you couldn't tell it was halibut, and maybe it wasn't. Unfortunately we can’t speak to the food as we weren’t able to experience it. Found this place on Google Maps and it looked like a sure thing… walked 1.5km to get there and help build up our appetite only to find out it was closed. It appears as though it’s still in business, but you may want to call ahead to confirm their open… no outdoor signage, and obviously the times listed on Google Maps is incorrect :
I would like to give top marks, to Gerald, Theresa and the team at Papa G 's. This is a restaurant where you get great food, at a great price and nothing but the best of customer service. This is also a restaurant that treats you like family . Thank you to everybody at Papa G 's for making a difference!!!!
the best place in kamloops for many reasons, great eating, good atmosphere and very friendly staff. I have a few to menu items when I go there, I love the Swiss, zimmerburger, with speck. I ask for garlic toast and call it a tomas burger. lol. they also have the saskatchewan pizza taste....sooooooo, good. Book a table now
The food at Papa G's Cafe in Kamloops is fantastic and the service is excellent. Whenever I am in town, this is a must-visit restaurant for me. My grandchildren even know me as "Papa G"! The restaurant is easily accessible from the street, making it wheelchair-friendly.
Such a great breakfast. Perfectly poached eggs, delicious hollandaise and crispy hash browns. Quality ingredients served in generous portions by a friendly team in a characterful space… no need to wait outside in the cold for breakfast, walk down the road to Pappa G’s
After searching online for a good veggie burger in Kamloops, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The Black Bean Veggie Burger was delicious! The fries were also great. I would definitely return!
The service is friendly and the food is delicious and homemade. Prices are reasonable and won't break the bank. The only downside is that Downtown needs more parking. Book a table now
Had take away from here twice. Very good food for the price. I recommend this place for pizza in Kamloops
