My experience at this Papa John’s location was quite disappointing. I called to place an order, but the phone rang for nearly a minute before anyone picked up. When someone finally answered, it was a new employee who mentioned it was her first order. She was friendly and did her best, but unfortunately, she had no support from her manager. I may just have a personal pet peeve, but if you're advertising a closing time of 10 PM and allowing online orders, it's only reasonable to fulfill those orders. I placed an order at 9:45, mistakenly thinking you closed at 11. Once I realized you actually close at 10, I felt bad and called to apologize, even saying I would tip both the driver and the person making the pizza. Instead, I was informed that the driver was already out making deliveries and my order would need to be canceled. I was told that my money would be refunded to my card in three business days. I always give a restaurant 3 try?s before I leave a bad review and never return. It?s sad because Papa Johns is my favorite restaurant. Every time I order from this particular Papa Johns my order is wrong or overly topped with toppings to the pointthat the dough is gummy. This time I ordered a regular crust pizza and got stuffed crust ?????????????? And seeing how thisstore responds to their customers reviews shows they really don?t take pride in customer service.
I ordered a Papa John bowl for my husband, and he said it was good. However, when I arrived to pick it up, I noticed an employee making pizza without gloves. Given the current health concerns, it's unsettling to think about food being handled with bare hands. I'm relieved I don't eat there, but now my husband is hesitant to return as well. Come on, Papa John, you can do better.
