First time having Papa John 's in YEARS. In the past, the crust was always chewy. Tried it because of the garlic stuffed crust. Pizza was HOT when I picked it up and still HOT when I got home. I 'd say that 's a plus. The pizza itself was just okay. Crust wasn 't chewy, so at least it has improved on that. Location seemed clean. Was greeted promptly. Tried the jalapeno poppers definite no. Also had the steak papadilla again, no. Not the fault of the store.
The food quality has declined compared to previous visits and was overly cooked. The delivery driver was not accommodating when I tried to pay with a large bill, as his solution was to leave without providing change. I had to contact a manager to resolve the situation as the driver was not going to address the issue.
DO NO TIP PRIOR TO DELIVERY!THEY DO NOT CARE IF THEY BRING THE PEPSI YOU PAID FOR AND THE DRIVER LAUGHED AND GAVE 3.00 BACK, NOT EVEN THE 3.19 WE PAY FOR IT.MANAGER DOESN'T CARE EITHER, PROVEN WHEN WE CALLED AND COMPLAINED.CHOOSE Another pizza place, you are bound to get better everything!
Bought a large pepperoni carryout order.Dough was undercooked in spots, and overall, it was VERY greasy.Ate two bites of one slice, and threw the rest in the trash.It'll be a cold day in h*ll before I order Papa John's again, at least from the Newport location. Book a table now
Can't get oder correct. Dry, unapologetic response to messing up order. Tried again, 32-42min time of delivery, over an hour later I received my luke warm pizza. This papajohns location continues to fail.
Ordered a pizza and boneless Bbq wings from here. Pizza is always greasy and the cheese just slides off. “Boneless wings” were chicken nuggets covered HALF WAY in barbecue sauce.
I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for almost 2 years, and I consistently receive excellent service and delicious, perfectly cooked pizzas every time.
