Fantastic takeaway spot! The service was excellent and set a great tone for our experience. We enjoyed huge burritos, tasty rice and beans, unique hot sauces, and perfect chips, which left us feeling very satisfied. We took our food to enjoy a lovely picnic at Thousand Steps, and it stayed nice and warm during our hike. It was definitely worth the wait! Just a heads up: watch out for the seagulls that were quite eager to join us, and please remember to dispose of your trash in one of the bins at the beach entrance! I highly recommend Papa's Tacos for a quick stop along the Pacific Coast Highway.
First time here on a Wednesday. It says it’s open daily 11 am to I think 7? Google had the hours wrong when I looked. I think we spoke to the owner and he was so nice. I think he’s proud of his place, as he should be. We just carnitas and carne asada tacos. The cilantro and onion tasted soooo fresh. And both tacos were great but carnitas are my favorite. Also got the green sauce which is mild but so delicious. Definitely coming back
Tried another Mexican restaurant and again disappointed. My guys team love Mexican food and didn't even finish there tacos. We ordered 20 5 of beef, chicken etc and these guys usually want more. Not from this place. The women at the register was nice and attentive and made sure everything we needed was provided. Service was great but unfortunately the tacos weren't.
These were the best tacos I've ever had. They were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend getting their matcha chicken street tacos, but there kind of small so you might want to get 2 or 3. The service kind of took awhile but it was okay because we were a party of 5. Just so you know it isn't a walk-in restaurant and you order through a window.

Excellent food and service! My husband and I usually get their carnitas and machaca beef quesadillas which are delicious. We crave them. Today we also ordered huevos rancheros and chicken enchiladas- delicious also! The prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommend!
The food here is outstanding. It's not as upscale as the restaurant across the street, but the Mahi Mahi burrito was fresh and delicious. You can also pick up beers from the liquor store next door!
Absolutely the best taco place, no contest! I would give it a 1000/10. There are so many great things to say about Papas, from the top-notch food to the incredible staff who work there.
Best breakfast tacos in Laguna by a mile. Great prices, delicious sauces, and the cooks get all the tips Papas is a must try!
