we ate early juni 2017 in papi. I tried a spaghetti frutti de mare, there was a small tinten fish, but no other meeres fruit. I was extremely disappointed. no garnel, no jamming, no fish. the taste was good, tomato sauce, but the lack of seafood makes it a 1 of 5. pizza was better, good taste 4 formaggi, four chess. there is a lot of cheese and taste was ok, size is very small but rich in cheese makes eh tired. personal is okay, no more. red wine from toscana, not good. white wine from Germany was good. take it instead. the lookout is good, but I can't really recommend this hotel.
unfortunately did not match my expectations to a restaurant at a key place in heidelberg. to run a reputable restaurant at a key location in heidelberg, one would expect them to accept at least credit cards. everything else indicates tax evasion. The waitress was fantastic, but worked hard alone to provide more than 20 tables alone. lasted time .... three male waiters (or owners) were more likely to stand for passiw than "to bring the things into the roll". the pizza of my sohnes was really good.
4 of us (2 couples) spent 4 nice days in heidelberg. we had two lunch and two dinners in papi’s and were not disappointed. the food was excellent and the wein also. paulo and his team worked effortlessly to ensure that we enjoyed our evenings and the young, busy staff at midday gave us an excellent service. would in any case go back there again at a visit. the pizzas look thick but are light and very, very tasty.

most disappointing. After I have lived in italia for years, I live from time to time for real Italian food. the website and restaurant itself promised more. I was really disappointed. the pizze were only average and the pasta dishes were just... bad. dayliatelle boiled, sauce was mixed. the price? if that was good, I wouldn't complain. for this quality of eating and service it was a complete scrap!
was here a month ago and was great, thought I should definitely visit it again. today, however, pure disappointment, all three pizzes we ordered were far worse than those I tried last time, very thick teig, the floor was burned and the inner of the teig was uncooked. the olives were like plastic (definitiw not .) Italian olive), the salate we ordered was also tasteless. .
we stopped for dinner on a Thursday evening, as the menu looked appetizing and there were tables on the main square. it took over 10 minutes until a waiter picked up our drinks order and we waited 30 minutes for our dinner (the restaurant was not full). the food was good, but the waiting period has been our evening.
we enjoyed our dinner in papi. we both took some bark that was absolutely delicious. only negative point is that the restaurant is rather small and therefore feels somewhat overcrowded.

we thought here as a beer and enjoyed the view of the place while the world passed. Eat is present, but we did not take part.
