As we don't live near Chadstone, we decided to go to Papparich for lunch while we were there. It was not overly busy and we were shown to a table immediately. I noticed the chopsticks were dusty and it was rather off-putting. Our mains were a disappointment, for what we paid we could have had a better meal in the food court closer to home. Hubby asked for water and both glasses were far from clean - both smelt of dried milk and we didn't bother asking for another glass. We've never been to a restaurant where both glasses were not washed thoroughly and this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Pity, as it could be a great place to eat - but we won't be going back.

A cheap and cheerful Malaysian restaurant franchise that I love going for quick meals. You got a bell switch on the table, a pencil and an ordering form to fill in what you like to have. The food is pretty much everyday Malaysian food that you might be familiar with if you are an Asian food enthusiast. My pick would be Hainamese chicken rice and roti bom. Something that you might consider to try (may be once is enough) is crispy deep fried chicken skin with sweet chili sauce. I do recommend this restaurant if you love to have nice cheap quick Asian food before or after shopping.
on arrival we were hurriedly led to a table and then asked to change as the table setting couldn't fit enough chairs for us.The food was quite good and tasty but i wouldn't say it was authentic. Tastes are set more for Western palates. The impression was to get customers seated, get the order as quickly as possible and then out the door. at the same time we had to get ups and ask the waiter/waitress to attend to us.Service lacks a feeling of welcome and warmth. Not the usual Asian attention to customers.Too noisy and tables and seats to close together.
As expected when you are part of a well-known chain of restaurants - You have standards to be maintained, and this Chadstone Chapter of Papparich delivered the Group's good reputation. No nonsense staff offering no nonsense service and providing no nonsense food! As authentic as one can get Malaysian food this side of the Straits of Malacca and South China Sea (are those the bodies of water separating Malaysia and Australia? I wonder if I am correct!). Good food but seriously RUDE staff. They just throw the food on your table without saying anything and rushing away, it's not even busy at the restaurant and there's too many staff for them to rush and forget decent customer service! When you ask for a favour, they won't even make eye contact and start yelling at their people at the back on their own language and won't even look at you, and they can't afford to smile even once. Disgusting service.
I discovered Malaysian cuisine thanks to Paparich and fell in love with it. Their curries and roti canai are to die for! the atmosphere is warm. Unfortunately, we cannot linger at the table given the success of this restaurant, but this is often the case in Asian family restaurants in Australia.
Had to shift to another table straight away as condensation dripping from overhead. Short wait for service one dish was overly salty, ordered a replacement, which was not much better, not very appetising
Came here for the first time with a friend , excellent food , service very good , cheap food and very tasty , definitely will be back Book a table now
Very authentic food great service and very reasonably priced. Food and drinks were served quickly and ordering was fairly simple.
