My brother lives in Mineola he's a senior citizen I called and spoke with the female owner to see if they were serving a Thanksgiving meal she said they would be closed Thanksgiving day but will serve the day before I live in another city when I askabout paying over the phone she said that's fine they'll accept my payment so my brother went there this evening he was refusedto pay I so many restaurants take payments over the phone he and I eat there when I come to visit but never again I was onlytrying to get a nice meal for Thanksgiving Day one star is to good for the way he and I was treated today 11/23/2022
I made a reservation for 6, they had our table ready, service was amazing, our server was very patient with the kiddos, and attentive. Food was good. The atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant was clean. Kiddos disappointed that the ice cream machinewas out of order, plenty of other dessert to choose from. Highly recommended!
I'm not a real fan of buffets, but this restaurant has a great selection and the price is very affordable. Selection includes Mexican food, fried chicken, liver and onions, chicken fried steak, pasta dishes, fresh veggies on the salad selections, yummycornbread and rolls, and delicious desserts as well. I will definitely return
The buffet experience was average. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, but three other families came in after us. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. It might have been affected by how close we were to closing time. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.

Great little Hometown Buffet, the choices are superb and incredibly hardy! Very quaint atmosphere and quick service. Their dessert is also ridiculously good! There may only be 4 or 5 choices but they are so good you won't notice there aren't morechoices.
I brought my family here for the first time to try something new, and I was not disappointed. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. Each item tasted fresh and homemade. I will definitely be taking my family here more often.
We went there for the Taco Soup, and we loved it. Large bowl filled with goodness. Not only was the food excellent, but our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Thanks and we'll be back.
Worst dining experience ever! Food was room temperature. Mac and cheese was runny. Beef and cheese tasted like fish. Salad bar was the only decent option. Will NEVER return!
