I shop in the Manasquan store often. The quality selection is top notch; many wonderful items to choose from. The service in the rear deli is excellent. Friendly staff; always with a smile a friendly greeting. This quality of service however, does not apply to the checkout end of the store. VERY unfriendly, expressionless staff, particularly the young ladies. Someone needs to train them how to treat customers how to create the same warm, friendly atmosphere as the rest of the store. I am a generous tipper, but have lately stopped adding to the jar due to their inability to connect with the customer in any way. How about starting with just a smile, and ending with, thanks have a nice day??
I typically don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my positive experiences at Pastosa. Every time I visit, the staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. I consider myself a fried ravioli connoisseur, and I must say that Pastosa's fried ravs are top-notch - even better than Taliercio's. I always order a tray of them for parties, and I've tried them from various places in the area - Pastosa's are definitely the best.
I didn’t realize because I was buying “ Pastosa” Ravioli from a store in Point Pleasant Beach that their Store in Manasquan was an Authentic REAL ITALIAN Deli Homemade sausage incredible, breads , desserts, baking supplies , yeast , almond flavoring, I shopped really looked around this store , it is absolutely the most authentic. The service is helpful, kind patient which makes a big difference.
Excellent! We ordered some dishes last minute (the day before a family party). Well…everyone loved everything! We ordered chicken Franchese sausage and peppers, yellow rice with veggies and chicken ceasar pasta salad. All delish! The girl who took the phone order was delightful and very helpful. And everyone at their yummy and visually appealing store made up pick up very easy! Highly recommend!

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. I have ordered "The Islander" sandwich four times now, and I have to say, it is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I am usually very selective about what I eat, but this sandwich exceeded my expectations.
