Heaven for beautifully decorated dessert. We found this patisserie when we visited Wissembourg and brought two whole boxes of desserts back to Mannheim. Luckily and surprising a few days later we found that they have a small stall in the department store in Mannheim too and offers the same dessert but with fewer options. The decorations are superb and it’s not too sweet. The decorations are seasonal too: butterfly and flowers for spring and dark red velvet for winter. Very good quality and a bit pricy but it’s definitely worth the price you pay.

During our bike ride, we 've stopped there for a tartlette and coffee. The signage for going into the cafe was confusing, as we had to enter through the kitchen. When I wanted to have a look at the produce in the shop, I ended up behind the counter. Two incredibly unfriendly women working there really told me off, to the point of insulting me. There were no signs on where to go and what to do. As much as the cafe and the chocolates, tarts, etc. were amazing, service was definitely lacking.

For my daughter’s birthday I luckily purchased an ice bomb looking like a lady bug. It has been soo delicious …. Best birthday’s cake ever , my little girl said. Without my knowledge Rebert employees added a sign happy birthday onto it. Very cute and big thanks again.

We were a little confused at first as to whether the café is entirely self-service or not. Turns out that you go to the counter to choose the cake you want (all very delicious), then they take your order for drinks at the table. Popular place. We liked it.
