A friend and I were walking around near our hotel on W. 40th Street hoping t get breakfast and came across this small cafe. We were so happy we did, as it is a gem! The counter staff is welcoming, very accomodating and helpful, not at all the stereotypical brusque New York waitstaff person. I got a crepe with ham and Swiss cheese and loved it, and couldn't eat it all. Got to take half away for lunch during my train ride! My friend enjoyed her omelette, and though they didn't have salsa for her to add as a condiment, she was fine with that. The cafe has a rather extensive menu and everyone can find something they want to eat there. Try it!
I was pleasantly surprised that eating was better than I expected for a small sandwich and Quickie place right near times square and broadway. I have a cream that was hot and fresh and filled with very many ingredients on the menu. they also have at least ten sandwiches ready to go, as well as drinks and chips and a very large bakery case. if we had had had more time before our show, I would have been glad to try some desserts, but I was pretty full of my crepe anyway. fixed place here.
We ended up here after making the mistake of saying we'll just find somewhere near the theater to grab dinner and not finding many options. I had a grilled chicken haloumi sandwich and it really wasn't very good. People kept coming in and asking us for money, so that was distracting as well. Might be okay depending what you order.
Service was great and food was amazing. My husband loved the selection of oysters and had fun trying different kinds that he’s never had before. Fried calamari was cooked perfectly and zucchini chips were delicious. We also sprung for dessert, Irish coffee bomb is a must try! Husband also loved the boozy coffee cold brew he got.

Slow service, rock hard bagels and was sold soup and told 5 minutes after we paid none was warmed up and if we could wait a few minutes. We waited 20 more minutes with no soup or even care from employees on it so we asked for a refund and went somewhere else for actual food.
So my friend and I had some amazing crepes one morning of our trip, but we were so stuffed we didn't get any of the delicious looking pastries.We decided to go back and we tried about 2 patties each and were underwhelmed. The chocolate cigar was very dry.
it was good. I didn't go long enough to form an academic opinion. I give 3 neutral stars that do not have to do with the service. the service was good until I can get a better feeling of experience.
Drinks magically jumped up in price after Happy Hour while sitting at a table . A heads up from thewaiter would have been nice. Nothing special about this place.

Great food, great prices for Times Square area. We had some confusion with our order and they fixed it immediately!
