I visited the Pausa Coffee shop with my husband. We arrived at 9am, as soon as the store opened. We went up to the coffee shop and there was no-one behind the counter. I sat at a table and my husband waited at the counter. By 9.08am no-one had appeared so I went back downstairs and spoke to a lady at the door. She called through to someone on her headset and said they were out the back and someone would be with us soon. I went back upstairs and sat down at the table again. A short time after, a woman started walking into the cafe and said Good God have you wet the bed? I was so shocked I didn 't respond and she then started muttering that she never had time to do anything and wished the cafe...

So I visited the cafe yesterday with my 11 month old son to escape the rain and have a coffee but sadly have to say I left very upset. My son is active and loves people and like all babies he doesn’t understand and does not want to just sit in a high chair at all times. I was told by a member of staff to CONTROL my son because he took a liking to the kitchen door. I wouldn’t mind but I kept picking him up and taking him back so he was not in the way and they could see that. I also when I arrived told a member of staff that he isn’t one for staying still for long so I asked be seated out of the way. I have to say I won’t be back and think that they should state that babies and children need t...

Came in today to have a coffee, waited at the counter and the lady behind stood in front of me making drinks, I waited for quite while and she didn't even acknowledge that I was there. I understand she was perhaps busy, although there were only two tables with people on and I was the only one at the counter but she stood in front of me and blatantly ignored me, she could have acknowledged me at least and said I won't be a minute. Not even eye contact, very rude. Left without purchasing and went to m &s where the service was excellent.

Terribly slow service in the cafe. Absolutely appalling. The staff were just chatting away and working at snails pace as if there wasn’t a big queue. It was almost painful to watch and I nearly left the line. A man from the floor came to help and he was very speedy which was refreshing to see. I get that you may be short staffed but I still feel this is no excuse for the completely relaxed attitude of the staff. And not even one person apologised for the wait. The food is good as always though. Book a table now

The Pausa brand is nothing to write home about. Perfectly ok for a snack and they general get star rating according to their staff. Food (soup teacake) with drinks filled a gap when we were visiting the shop. Food ok and staff just a bit better than normal but the ambiance just doesn't create a good impression it's almost as if they have shoehorned Pausa into a tiny corner. Would use it again but not rushing back to do so

My wife and I called in on the off chance and noted that they had refurbished the original cafe. Now it was bright and the food display and variety on offer was improved. There were offers on display and we took advantage of one which was a bacon bap £1.50 if a coffee was also ordered . We had had two coffees and baps for only £7.90 . The food and coffee was excellent .

My wife and I visited Dunhelm and combined this with a light lunch. We have had a snack here before .On this occasion I had a large Americano and bacon roll. The coffee as always was aromatic and the bacon roll was full of totally lean reashers. At a total cost of £4:50 the cost was excellent value .The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Went to the Dunelm in Nottingham. Absolutely disgusting stale cakes. Dry. Took about 15 minutes queuing behind 2 other people. When I finally got a cake it was dry as a bone and stale. Never again.
