very disappointing. we have been pax fans for years! we brought friends to celebrate Christmas. our drinks and appetizers were great. then we waited for 40 minutes to come to our entrees even if the restaurant was not busy. my friend and her daughter ordered her rock steak medium good — it rarely came to medium. my friend ordered salat with her steak, while her daughter fries ordered – both got salat. the daughter sent her steak back to cook a little more — it came medium rare — it was sent back and came medium. at this time the mood at the table was pampered and we asked to take the steak from the sheck. the manager took the escape from the sheck, but had a posture throughout the entire exp...
Our experience was good enough that we will dine with PAX one more time just to make certain we did not hit an off night. The service provided by Jonathon was excellent. The music was too loud and not dinning music . The martinis were served in little champagne style glasses. We had fish and lamb and it was good but not great.
we had a nice dinner, but I would say that eating was not as delicious as previous visits. Brussels shoots were very delicious and so the fish was especially special. a desert was a bomb, but they are always gracious to take them out of the bill. I'll go back because I love the whole experience. waiting staff is amazing
Four of us ate there this Saturday night. The food was very good and the service was attentive. My only complaint is the noise level was too high at times. I would definitely recommend. The price is in line with other restaurants of this caliber

Excellent food. Great friendly service. Wish they had more on drink menu but what we did have was very good. Highlights: Nashville hot chicken, braised pork flank, bread and butter pudding.
positiw were the deliciously prepared vegetables and free main dishes. more variety on the menu and wine list would make this restaurant levels better.
great cozy restaurant. it is a shame that it is closed. the otopus was excellent and cute neighboring great city vibe.
I used to love the food at Pax Americana but it was really awful the other night. Not one thing we had tasted right.
