I've been visiting Peas for over 8 years and it never ceases to amaze me how such good food comes out of a tiny kitchen. Sure the service might not be 5 star, but it's not at all bad. My favourite is the traditional scrambled eggs on sourdough with bacon (crispy) per request. Coffee is good. There are some new comers nearby but they are not a patch on Peas flavour. I say "Give peas a chance"
I had poached egg with grilled bacon and avocado this morning. Fresh. Beautifully cooked. Decent coffee. I agree with the previous reviewer that service isn't one of their strengths at Peas Please but the food was more important for me. I go elsewhere for conversation. Recommended for good quality food at a fair price.
Whenever we go past here they seem to be packing up the tables. They really need to open later if they want to pick up the local traffic. Menu items are decent, typical cafe food. Only a few tables but not too busy. Outside is better if the traffic isn't too heavy.
I have been there couple of times for lunch, I tried their breakfast menu which always bought be back as their food quality is great and delicious. It is a cute little place and always busy so that says something :) Book a table now
They have a $10 lunch menu that offers very good value. Some other really nice dishes on their main menu, including pasta and Asian inspired dishes. Great range of not too sugary cakes. Very friendly service too.
We go here every 10 days and it is always excellent, good food and drinks and very inexpensive. Ultra friendly owner/operator who actually knows what he is doing and why.
I am a local in Alexandria and I've been here at least 4 times for brekky and food is always good and at a good price. They have a few good vego options too.
They used to be better. One out of our two orders didn't even arrive before we left. Don't think they have much idea about how to run a cafe. Book a table now
Stopped in for lunch when on business. Beef Burger with chips was a great feed. Quick, convenient place to grab a bite to eat.
