Me and my boyfriend have been using this takeaway for a long time and we decided to try the restaurant. The waitress was rude enough to say “isn’t that a bit much” at what I had explained I’d like to order for us. And she proceeded to make a face at her note pad and walk away and repeat this to her co worker in Chinese. I had asked to speak to a manager about her behaviour and nothing was done and I was told it was just a mis communication and that they assured me it wasn’t meant in that way. I walked from one end of Montrose to get to this restaurant,the other Chinese food outlets were takeaways but I fancied a table When I entered the Restaurant a waitress was serving a big table she glanced at me and then walked away to do something else I stood there waiting,eventually lady approached I asked for a table she then asked me if I’d booked! Clearly I hadn’t,showed me a table over the other side of the restaurant,I ordered and she said bring it all together almost insisting! very strange place,the service here is really awful!! 3 miserable Chinese ladies who basically can’t be bothered which is clear to se,no smile no welcome utterly grim! the food was edible....only for mealtimes, fillet steak looked like minute steak in sweet and acidic soned, crispy curse was not crispy, plant sauce had never seen a plant before, chips seemed like warming. it took almost an hour and half. the delivery driver did not know where to drive or what to calculate. avoid it like the plague.
this is a sweet and acidic huh hong kong style. the chicken is dried and solid. on the side came a less than half-filled tub of the sauce. that should be in the sosse with pinzette and pfeffer. it's in now. I had already matured indefinitely from there, but thought I would give him another chance as it is close to us. never again.

It wasn't bad it's just not to my personal taste. Clean beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff. The food was in no way awful or not cooked right. Just not my favourite. Worth a try. It's the only Chinese I tried who does a actual mild curry which is great. I just feel like a few changes or a different dish would of made it star.
fantastic restaurant with friendly staff. Eating is really nice with large portion size. we were already a good number of times, although it was a minute drive. it's really worth the trip.

Occasionally we try another Chinese restaurant on our travels but none of the others compare to the quality of food at the Peking Palace we can never fault it

Good traditional chinese. Had mixed starter platter, king prawn tsai ting and sizzling beef fillet which hubbie said was delicious.
