Although we were disappointed that we couldn't enjoy the beautiful restaurant we decided to order the food and take it home. It was fresh and amazing and everyone enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back for more. Not all Chinese restaurants are equal. After being disappointed by another local restaurant closer to home I will only eat from Pelham Palace going forward. And their front desk staff is nice and accommodating and answered all of my questions. Next visit we will be getting a Peking Duck. Theirs is really good too. I really wanted to like this restaurant and hoped it could become my go-to spot, but after trying the beef, chicken, shrimp, and salmon, I have to say that everything has been disappointing. None of the dishes taste authentic; for example, the salmon was flavorless, almost like cardboard, and the shrimp seemed artificial. It feels like they think a little sauce can mask the lack of quality. It's frustrating to spend money on meals that leave you guessing what you’re actually eating. Dine here at your own risk; the delivery person was also rude.
I only had the opportunity to dine in at this restaurant once with my wife, and it was a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, they have since stopped allowing dine-in services, likely due to Covid. Regardless, the food is exceptional. I would rate the food and service both a 5, while the atmosphere gets a 3.
Fantastic food! Truly authentic and delicious. Definitely worth the visit. The staff is very friendly! We opted for takeout and enjoyed our meal in the park just across the street.
