Blissfully comfortable bed. Marvellous room with fridge, kettle, toaster, tea and coffee, crockery and cutlery. Microwave in guest lounge downstairs.A beautiful, tranquil oasis. Quiet, on 5 acres.Views of the river from the upstairs verandah.Cute animals (a very confident horse which likes to be fed carrots, chickens, ducks, rabbits which may not be intentional )Comprehensive guest information, including evacuation procedures and history of the house.I was hesitant about the shared bathroom, but didn't even hear anyone else use it (some rooms have their own), and only met one other guest in the hallway. Claremont house was absolutely fabulous. An amazing experience, Joel could not have been more hospitable, it is a home of many stories . We take out hats off to Joel for the work he has put into this beautiful to keep its memories alive . I would highly recommend this place . All monies that are received in this home are put into the up keep of this amazing 1830's Heritage home. I will definitely be back .It's comfortable , beds are comfortable, clean, big . Just can't say anymore . I give it 10 stars here
simply an absolute must remain! the being is a great example of a thoughtful use of an amazing building that allows access to an experience that is otherwise inaccessible. the tower room is the best hotel room for families where I had the pleasure to stay anywhere in the world!
Such good value for money, wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful house and gardens, owner was really nice
