Perro Salado - Table reservation

We were so excited to try this Mexican place after hearing great reviews from multiple people and we were HIGHLY disappointed. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and when the pitcher came there was a bug floating in it we said something to the waitress she said she would replace it and she only replaced the one margarita glass that the bug had fallen into and wasn’t apologetic and seemed annoyed. We also all order our meals and about 20 minutes later the waitress came over saying that they ran out of rice but would have enough for the 2 burrito bowls that we ordered. I took some friends here because they like margaritas. We sat at the bar and even though they were insanely busy, the bartender was attentive to hosting us. My wife and I are vegan and I would suggest specifying your dietary restrictions because even though we ordered a vegan option, with vegan cheese, the meal came out with sour cream on it. I felt bad having to send it back, but I was pleased to find out that the staff comped one of our meals for waiting. The staff is friendly, the food is great. I definitely recommend making a reservation rather than just showing up like we did. It was relatively early in the day and it was a 30 minute wait for a table.

We were excited to go here as a group but didnt have the best experience. Ordered the guacamole specifically for the tostones and when they arrived they said they were out. The empanadas were not edible. They must’ve been cooked in dirty oil too long so they were beyond burnt. The lobster inside of the quesadilla was a generous amount. The tofu tacos were lack luster and super dry.

Atmosphere was great old New England home turned into cute resturant, food was good but not great Mexican.

Intimate atmosphere authentic food, our friends brought us here and did not disappoin.
