What a GREAT late afternoon, early dinner we had at the Irvine Spectrum Chang's! Since it was a warm, beautiful day, we elected to sit outside on their patio. Weather-permitting, this OASIS at Chang's patio is OUR new go-to indulgence! Not only was Chang's VERY UPSCALE motif/furniture carried throughout to their patio seating, but we were also surrounded by Fresh Plants and could subtly do some people watching! (Kinda like distractions for the grown-ups! LOL! Our meal of Peppered Beef, Spring Rolls, Crispy Green Beans, Mongolian Beef and Won Tons was SO DELICIOUS and cooked perfectly (our Server, Ana, was WONDERFUL! , that we ordered a bit extra of the sides/appetizers to take home w/our ent...
I feel quality has declined over the years. Singapore noodles was more like an Indian spices dish than what was expected. Too vinegary. Also overcooked and partly burned. No regular soy sauce is available, only a watered down low sodium variety. They should at least make regular soy sauce available. Cost cutting? Used to be top quality and fresh. That was 20 plus years ago I suppose.
Totally disappointed. 2nd time in a year and the wait time was unacceptable with reservations. Had to wait 10 minutes both times with reservations and with many tables available. This time got my favorite chicken lettuce wrap and it was completely different. Soooo disappointed and I will not go to another PFChangs.
Worse experience ever. Tons of waitstaff just hanging around while we were the only ones in there in a slow Monday late afternoon. Ultimately management is to blame but acted like the good guy. My sister got our bill reduced but I see you Mr. Manager. Do your job!

We met up with friends and it was our first visit to the restaurant. There was a changeover in waiter as we arrived which made the service slightly slower for the drinks order to arrive. Overall it was a good experience and the food was very good.
PF Changs never disappoints, as their food taste and presentation is consistent. Only “complaint” would be that the large bowl of egg drop soup barely has enough soup for 5 guests despite saying it serves 6 guests (and we had 6 in our party).
Everything at the restaurant was great but this is the first and only time I had a problem with my open table reservation. I made reservations and got confirmation but once at the restaurant they had nothing on it. Very frustrating.
We celebrated our daughter's birthday, Great food and service!
