I visited during Downtown Dining Week and chose this restaurant, which was part of the $35 options. Unfortunately, the service was much below that expected level. There was a long wait between courses, and plates remained on our table until the next course arrived. Our server seemed quite disinterested in us, and drink orders took a lengthy time to arrive. We weren't provided with new silverware, and I was specifically asked to remove my fork from my plate so the server could clear it away. The food was decent to good, but nothing outstanding. None of these issues would have been as bothersome if they hadn’t all occurred or if the restaurant had been on the $25 list instead.
While attending a convention in Milwaukee, we decided to try Pier 106, the only seafood restaurant in the area. Located right on the Riverwalk, it offers a great location for outdoor dining, although we chose to dine inside. The service was excellent and our meal was delicious. We started with an appetizer of mussels & clams in a white sauce that reminded us of New England clam chowder - a pleasant surprise. My entrée was the stuffed salmon and my husband had the ahi tuna, both of which were fantastic. Overall, we would highly recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee.
This could be a gem of a place but the night we dined, they were short on waitstaff , the food took a long time to get to our table and then seemed overdone. Unfortunately, it was too cold, otherwise, this looks like the perfect place for sitting outside on the patio with a view of the river, open air and energetic city vibes.
I have loved this restaurant any other time I've gone, but, for downtown dining, the food was outright terrible. All three of us HATED the food, and it's unfortunate that I place I've highly regarded in the past could serve such horrendous food. Extremely disappointing and a giant waste of money and time.

Ask for ahi tuna, they didn't have it. That knocked out about 1/3 of the menu. Ordered mussels + clams. Clams were undercooked and didn't even open. Mussels were empties for about half of them. Waitresss was new and apologetic, I hope she finds a new job
Food was not hot, luke warm at best. Server couldn't answer simple questions about the menu or the fireworks cruise after dinner. Very disappointed with the whole meal. Fireworks we're awesome!
I have been visiting this restaurant for several years on New Year's Eve, and I really appreciate that early diners have the option to select from the regular menu.
The restaurant refused to accept our gift card and did not return my husband's call when he tried to speak with a manager.

What a fantastic place to eat and unwind! We had the chance to sit outside and admire the river while savoring our meal.
Delicious food and Kelly took good care of us. Can't wait to try other menu items.
