Used to eat here all the time. Place had great food, owner and staff were very friendly. Seems new hands and new owners are running the show now. Or should I say ruining the the show. Went in to order my usual, didn't recognize any of the staff. Bunch of children behind the counter too busy in conversation then taking my order. Took longer then usual to get my food, tasted awful. Was nothing like it used to be, fries were not cooked all the way. Sandwich was greasy. I had to move twice to find a table that wasn't sticky, ended up eating out side at a table by the Carvel next-door. Even the soda tasted funny. Man let me tell you , this place would’ve gotten a 5 star BUT I noticed on the receipt that I got charged a 2% credit card fee for $1.26 MIND YOU I PAID CASH ? it even states on the receipt that CASH TENDERED WAS $50.00. and also charge .84 cents for take out containers(which is no problem but for those of you who do takeout just a heads up )Now I don’t wanna make it seem like I’m crying over a dollar and change BUT if you think about how many people they’re doing this to MAN THATS PETTYCheck your receipts if you go here. Foods good but I only wonder how much extra money they’re making by doing all this extra charging .
I'm struggling with this one. I asked if they had Wiz and she said yes. Made my taste buds dance a little. Ordered a Philly Wit Wiz and grilled onions. Knew as soon as she set it on the table it wasn't wiz kid! Let me tell ya there's a YUGE difference between melted cheddar and Wiz! With that said it's still a pretty good sandwich and could potentially get 5 stars if they actually used Wiz. I'm giving 3 stars because I felt deceived with every bite I took.
I love this place it makes you feel like you’re in Philly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cheese steaks were so delicious each bite brought me back to Philly. They weren’t very greasy at all. I’ll definitely be coming back here again. This was the closest I’ve ever had to Gino’s in Philly. Thank you for bringing back my memories of long ago with the Philly Grill
