I will start by saying that I'm not a big fan of pho. But my kids love it so we went. We got the large said and large brisket pho. And 2 grilled pork chop appetizers to share (I have to eat something, right? This restaurant can be found in a few locations but we went to the one in Bayside. First, the complimentary hot tea is served in fancy teavana-style steeping pots. Second, the kids literally ate up all their pho. Reminder they were the large size. I tried each's broth for flavor only to reconfirm my dislike for the flavor. This is my personal preference like some people just don't like the taste of cilantro. Korean Vietnamese restaurant with Pho and Shabu shabu as their main offerings. You can order a hotpot for yourself to share with everyone on the table. We ordered the flank pho, grilled pork chop hot plate, and the fried shrimp balls to start. We didn't have to wait long for our order too. Everything was great. The menu is quite limited though, but they lack in options, they have with variety; pho with different meats or the shabu shabu and what you can put in them.
Had a late night to eat with a friend....it was cozy, spacious, clean and easy to find. I ordered the Brisket noodle dish (medium was fill) and chicken pot sticker (6 pieces). I enjoyed my meal and would return if I'm ever in this area. *sidenote* appears the waiter, cook and busboy are all the same person
I was going to give this place 3 stars as they give only 2 Shrimp on the dish. I meantioned that to the waiter while he was cleaning the table. He came back and said I spoke to my manager and we usuually give 5 shrimp. So he he went back and got 3 more shrimp. The food is excellent and nice portions.
