I have eaten in and ordered take out. Eating in allows the cooks to get the perfect ratio of broth, veggies and meat. For the take out, I had tons of veggies and ordered double brisket/steak and really needed about 50% more broth. Nonetheless, the Pho is really good and the spring rolls and sauces are on point.I've also ordered the chicken, shrimp vermicelli plate and enjoyed that as well. However, I would say the Pho is the way to go on a cold Boise evening. The wait staff is comprised of what appears to be high school aged young ladies. They are efficient and work hard to keep pace in this busy spot. While I've had service with a smile, I do think it would be beneficial is the owner put a b...

I understand that delays can happen, but I was disappointed with the service at Pho Nguyen. I placed my order at 6:30 PM expecting a 30-minute wait as advertised, yet I didn’t leave until nearly 8 PM. When I asked about my order, the hostess initially said it would be ready in 5-10 minutes, which I found reasonable. However, 45 minutes passed before she then said it would only take another 5 minutes. Meanwhile, I saw customers who ordered after me being served, while the staff seemed unoccupied. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again, and I advise others to think twice before dining here.

Tried this place tonight for the first time and we 10/10 recommend. We had the veggie spring rolls, rare steak pho the rare steak brisket pho. I had read a review previously talking about the broth being sweet and the owner replied stating that the broth is savory/sweet due to it being more unique to southern Vietnam. That intrigued me. My husband and I enjoyed it so much and had no issue drinking the broth at the end of the meal as always. It was a perfect balance. Veggies were fresh. Ask for their homemade chili paste too if they have it!

the pho was quite good for the contrary, probably very high is sodium, because we were ridiculously criminal, but they managed to balance the taste, so it did not taste excessively salty. the part was good, but the price was more like to place in comparison to others. we got the big one. the prices have already been edited in the menu, but there is still a price of 3.99% that they will get when they check and of course control. they had vermicelli and start of rice, but not other soup dishes. the customer service was good. The food was good. Had the 6 piece egg roll and Large #1 Pho. The problem with the egg roll is that its only 3 pieces so it was kinda misleading which bugged me. The Pho was good and tasted fresh and homemade but there had to be a small handful of meat thorough out the bowl. I left it with handfuls of noodles. The Thai basil as well as the bean sprouts were rotten. If you didn 't have fresh produce to hand out you were better off not to serve them in the first place. On top

I?ve been to just about every pho place in town. I?ve been coming to this location over the past 20 years. We are very pleased with the new owner?s recipes, the cleanliness and decor of the restaurant and the courtesy and thoroughness of the waitstaff. My lady said it was the best pho tai she ever had and I was quite happy with the bun bo hue with choose your own spice house chili paste on the side

Best Vietnamese food in the valley, of the places we've tried anyways. My Vietnamese wife approves. It's one of our go to spots. Authentic flavors and ingredients. Fast service. If you're new to Vietnamese food, try the Pho Tai, spring rolls (the peanut sauce is incredible), and iced coffee.

I have been living here in boise for about 8 years now and I have not found a really good authentic pho restaurant. And thank goodness my search is over. The food here is absolutely fantastic and flavorful. I found my new honey hole that I will be coming back for sure. Book a table now

Pros- flavorful broth, dipping sauce, home made chilli paste. I tried almost every pho place in Boise/Meridian area. This place is the most tasty in town. Cons- location a bit off popular locations. Broth and chilli paste a little overwhelming sweet taste than savory.
