we have often eaten in the course of the years in the phoenix and last Sunday we have kept our sons to celebrate with our family. there were a total of 22 of us and each one of our party could not praise enough eating! the food was perfectly cooked and nothing was too much annoyed. we had a nice reserved against and the staff was very attentive. the terrace and the view are beautiful to enjoy drinks and the garden very safe and spacious for our children to play. can not recommend this place enough and we are happy to come back soon! thank you. mel all employees xx
Amazing food and drinks. Was a shame it was spoilt with us having to wait 25 minutes for someone to move our plates. They where only moved because the chef came out with our deserts after shouting for staff attention to say they where ready to go out. The chef ended up bringing our deserts out and was shocked the table hadn't been cleaned. He was very apologetic and took all our stuff away.
felt like I sat on vacation yesterday and had breakfast. I went with my family of 5 and we had the best to eat! the staff was nice, eating was about 15-20 minutes, which is not bad and when it came, it was delicious! they recently have new outdoor furniture that is beautiful, very comfortable and stylish. can not wait, this is our new place to breakfast. came for mama and father golden high-time day with 14 guests. the whole staff service was excellent, nothing was too much annoyed. the quality of eating was exceptional with much to fill also the hungry likes ... really not thank them all for making mum and papas jubilee that something more special

This is my favorite place to eat in the local area. I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic menu and service provided by the staff. The food and service here truly meet restaurant quality standards. While I usually go for the steaks, everything I have ever tried here has been outstanding.
Although their steak and ale pie had some bad reviews I thought I would still try it and wasn't disappointed it wasn't a pot of meat and gravy with a piece of pastry slapped on top, it was a proper pie although I was disappointed with the eggcup of gravy.
Rather nice pub with a varied menu and lots of tables. Food is good to great and tasty. Staff are amazing, honestly, you know your in the north as everyone here is brilliant. Nice work.
