I stayed here when the rooms were first set up a few years ago and was happy to see how the rooms were kept fresh, immaculate and updated. small details they usually see in 5 star hotels, this is not b and b its boutique hotel of highest quality. concerning eating and drinking, the beer is well kept and a good selection of gins etc., good value, but the real attraction is eating, absolutely perfect and a beautiful mix of menu, traditional and new, love the tapas. breakfast also very good and the service was simply amazing. very recommended and clearly from the footfall on a wet and windy Tuesday evening.
we were here for three nights and were thrilled that the room was spacious, fresh, immaculate and modern. the lavazza machine is a perfect note. they have created a boutique hotel of highest quality. we were on a dinner bed and breakfast package and the meals were excellent. an interesting mix of menu choices that are perfectly prepared by the talented team in the kitchen. a great choice for the breakfast included continental. the service was simply amazing from a well oiled team. highly recommended.
well earned travel away for my men late birthday. the staff was great, the room was beautiful (clean, fresh, great bathroom) and the eating was amazing. we stayed for 2 nights and fortunately stayed longer. the location was perfect for those who want to explore the peak district. it is not surprising that this place has such excellent reviews, we have already recommended it to others. thanks for the nice stay.
Well, what another amazing experience at the Devonshire Arms. We have been numerous times now and have had a tremendous meal on every occasion. The food is just 1st class! Not forgetting the staff, who are welcoming, professional and friendly, plus all set in an amazing setting. It really delivers in every aspect of what you want from a special evening out.
