A coworker recommended this restaurant to me, and I knew I had to give it a try. Upon entering, I noticed it was a bit dimly lit, but the place was bustling with customers. The staff member who took my order was incredibly friendly. I decided to try chicken and waffles for the first time, and I was eager to see how it would taste. The wait for my meal wasn’t long, and I found myself captivated by all the delicious dishes being served to other patrons. The food and customer service were both outstanding—truly top-notch! I will definitely be urging all my coworkers to check this place out!
This place is a hidden gem with excellent cuisine for a great price. The combos fill you up. And the fried chicken is for real, no rubbery depressing grocery store fried chicken and the sides are wonderful. A real truly authentic soul food restaurant. You deserve to treat yourself and check it out.
We used to have work lunches here frequently. Since moving away, I returned for a visit and was disappointed to find that they no longer serve lunch! However, the food is still excellent, and I would definitely consider catering from them if I had the opportunity.
Snapper, fried chicken, sweet potatoes and mac and cheese are very good indeed! Haven't tried other menu items but look forward to doing so.
