Booked a table here for o clock. when we arrived minutes late all the family were eating. that didn't worry us as we know was very early for Italy. anyway we sat and waited. the chef came out and apologised for the...wait and then we started, first with a local beer while we looked at the menu. we ordered Rabbit rolls and steak tartar, ravioli with shrimps and clam sauce, then we both had rabbit burger with salad, and for desert peach crumble with ice cream. a bottle of white local wine was recommended produced in the area. finished with a lovely coffee. an incredibly eating experience would recommend to every one. on top of all that the views were stunning. they spoke perfect English too.
Usually don't like Italian food but this was a mean pasta! Very friendly and authentic family owned restaurant. Tucked away in a side street, this however is the place to go! Funny way of discovering a gem: we needed some food and wanting something else...then the big chains but made a wrong turn on the Reeferbahn and wound up on the 'wrong side' : there some friendly 'street working ladies' pointed us towards this restaurant on the 'good side' of the street, away from the ladies just out of the kidness of their hearts to be clear
The restaurant is highly recommended. There are few similar establishments nearby. Very good and varied Italian cuisine. Engaged host family and friendly staff. The high consciousness recommends a place reservation. I've known the house for years and eat the menu up and down. Nevertheless, the boss always surprises me with dishes such as fresh mussels hearty bovine fillet and tasty tiramisu .
Whether you are on a big night out on the Reeperbahn or just on a day trip, take time out to refuel in this no-nonsense friendly restaurant with excellent home cooked meals. Traditional food in a restaurant that is very well established, with accessible prices...and fast service.

A short walk off the main touristy street this place has a great welcoming vibe! Excellent Italian pasta, fresh hand sliced bread, good wine.... awesome place! If you need cash there’s an ATM about ft away front the restaurant
Very satisfied. The boss is a serious and good businessman. Very friendly, keep restaurant clean, super handling with customers, right and friendly. I would like to order the dishes that are also fresh and taste very good
A real Italian. Very nice hostess. Eat great. Can be absolutely recommended. It's been 20 times there and never got disappointed.
