Don't go if you are already hungry because it's very slow here. It took about ten minutes for the Server to come out and tell me they're out of the item I ordered. Two little girls a boy repeatedly kept going in and out of the kitchen. We could hear our server their mom/the cook saying reprimands to them. No one brought us menus or silverware; finally my daughter got us some. Then, the server finally came and asked what we wanted to order. People who came in after us got their food before us. My salad was missing its croutons, and my husband's plate was missing its ranch cup. My kids drinks didn't come until I reminded her, and they never got a refill. Terrible food. Lady who worked in the kitchen came out and asked one of us if she wanted more pickles she wanted more so the lady from the kitchen reached with her bare hands and put a hand full of pickles on her plate. I had vegetable soup and it was cold and very thick. I told our server that my soup was cold and she began to apologize and offered to take it back to the kitchen I refused and asked for a togo dish. Of course I brought it home in the garage. I must remember the lady and the pickles and I couldn't remember eating the soup. I'm sorry it wasn't a Gallon boy from Pickles, it was a container that goes into a Deli, I would say it was like a Quart format container.
The service at this restaurant was quick, but unfortunately they didn't have everything I needed to complete my order. I had to pay extra for a substitute side. The chicken strips were disappointing - dry and bland, leaving much to be desired. However, on a positive note, the waffle was great. The small portion of okra made me question the level of care put into the dish. The meatloaf had a confusing mix of flavors, but it was cooked decently. The mac and cheese should probably be removed from the menu, as it was made with imitation cheese and overcooked noodles. Even my child wouldn't eat it, which speaks volumes.
There was only one waitress, poor thing. She was awesome, but someone must have called in and left her there on her own. I got the chicken and waffles and the waffle was good but the chicken left something to be desired. It wasn't bad just mid.

The food was very tasty. I ordered the country fried steak and it was delicious. My mom and sisters both had the roast beef and French dip sandwiches, and they also enjoyed their meals.
I ordered pies for all of my holiday gatherings. Everyone loved the pies, and the prices were affordable. The staff was polite.
